Millenials

Been reading about “millenials” today, after seeing this article tagged by Johannes on delicious.

It talks about a new generation of workers in the labour market who put lifestyle, family/friends before career (and because of this, are different from previous generations). They expect flexibility and fun in their work and working environment.

It’s funny to see the older journalist give these “how are they going to survive?”-looks…

Related to this: the guys interviewed at the end of the programme (Ryan Healy) has a very interesting blog with observations, tips and tricks on who to work as a new worker with other generations — http://www.employeeevolution.com/
